The simplest method (Windows or Mac)
Open the TikTok video on tiktok.com in your browser and copy the URL from the address bar β or use Share β Copy link. Paste it into the downloader, pick the standard MP4, and the file lands in your Downloads folder, clean and watermark-free.
- 1. Copy the URL: from the address bar on tiktok.com, or Share β Copy link.
- 2. Paste & download: drop it into the downloader and click Download.
- 3. Find it: the MP4 saves to your Downloads folder.
Downloading many videos at once
On desktop you can batch easily. Use the bulk downloader, paste up to 25 links (one per line), and get them all back as a single ZIP β ideal for archiving a creator's posts or research.
If the HD file won't play on Windows
Windows is the most common place to hit the 'audio only, black screen' issue, because older builds can't decode HEVC (H.265). Two fixes: download the standard H.264 version instead, or install the free VLC player (or the Microsoft Store HEVC extension) to play H.265 files.
Saving audio or slideshows
Only need the sound? Use the MP3 option to save audio for editing or a sound library. For photo carousels, the downloader detects the slideshow and lets you save every image or grab the whole set as a ZIP.
Why browser-based beats installed software
There's no need for sketchy downloader apps on your PC. A browser tool works on Windows, Mac, and Linux alike, stores nothing, and can't bundle unwanted software β paste, download, done.
