What we use
- No first-party tracking cookies. We don’t set our own advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense). To keep Tiksy free, we show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies in your browser to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits. See the Advertising section below.
- Privacy-preserving analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are cookieless and do not personally identify you; they only count anonymous page views and Core Web Vitals so we can improve performance.
- localStorage — theme preference only. Your browser stores a single key that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. This value lives only on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it any time via your browser settings.

Because we display Google AdSense ads, the following third-party cookies and choices apply:
- Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Strictly necessary
If your browser issues a session cookie purely so the page renders correctly, that is considered “strictly necessary” and does not require consent under most laws (including the EU ePrivacy rules). We try to avoid even these where possible.
Managing cookies and storage
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser’s settings, and you can block third-party cookies entirely. Doing so won’t break Tiksy — the main effect is that your theme preference resets to the default and any ads you see may become less relevant.
